Maritime

Located in the English Channel 2.5 miles off the English south coast, the Isle of Wight has a long and diverse maritime history. Many artworks and photographs record this history, including the themes of fishing, boatbuilding, naval and merchant shipping, shipwrecks, yachting, and other water sports and leisure activities.
